Who We Are:

 The World Affairs Council of Maine is a nonprofit and nonpartisan educational organization. It is Maine's preeminent public forum and resource for understanding, analyzing, and debating international issues.

 The programs and activities of the World Affairs Council of Maine focus upon
  • promoting an understanding of international affairs to the general public,
  • advancing Maine's international standing,
  • contributing to Maine's economic development, and
  • serving as a dynamic educational resource to high school and college students and teachers.
