Internships

In partnership with the University of Southern Maine and the Maine Economic Improvement Fund (MEIF), we host USM undergraduates through the Career Exploration Internship Program. These internships can last year-long or one semester (fall, spring, or summer). These positions are paid and students must work a 120-hour minimum each semester. To be eligible, students must be matriculated at USM as a full-time or part-time student, have at least a 2.7 overall GPA and a minimum of 30 credits prior to the internship, and be legally authorized to work in the US (international students on F-1 visas may apply).

Core Responsibilities:

  • Social media content creation and scheduling using Canva.
  • Website content creation and maintenance using WordPress.
  • Research and creation of the weekly 7in7 World News Roundup.
  • Assisting with the planning and preparation for, and being in attendance of WAC events.
  • Planning and leading groups from the International Visitor Leadership Program.
  • And much, much more!
