Dr. Elms has written extensively on the rapid increase in tariffs, particularly those initiated by the United States, and their widespread effects on both direct targets and the broader global economy. Her work frequently examines the risks and unintended consequences of tariffs as a policy tool, highlighting the ripple effects through global supply chains and the potential for significant economic disruption.
